Arifwala is my native city. After my primary education I shifted to Lahore for studies . Drawings and paintings are my passion since childhood and I started playing with cameras when I was in 5th grade.I joined drawing studio to improve my skills in 1994. RM Naim was my first drawing teacher. In 1998 my passion took me to National Collage of Arts. My department was fine arts ,in fine arts I chose printmaking as my major .my minor subjects were sculpture and graphics.during that time I was in luck that Malcolm Hutcheson started some pinhole photography workshops. It was great time for me when I experienced hand-made camera, developing and printing from film. I started to teach drawing and painting in my studio. For me it's always been difficult to describe my self in words .I always try to tell my mood my feelings by visual.I am using camera as medium .my inspiration is old masters work where they played with light in their paintings .I always believed light is a blessing. like Rembrandt did . I love surreal work .in surreal work I highly respect Dali's work.so my work shows my feelings and my mood that is reaction of trivial things that you face in routine life..I love nature ,still life and surreal work . I work to get satisfaction ,peace and silence. Dreams and after death is great mystery for me. I always like to think about when your conscience melt in your subconscious. like in dreams we submit ourself to ourself. I mean that first moment when your mind starts working by itself, at that time you are the audience and not yourself. My work is that 1st moment for me.
